I am a very lucky man. I am married for nearly 30 years, with four children, three children in-laws, two grandchildren and two more on the way.

I am a Technical Communications professional. My online manager's resume and my online technical writer's resume show the computer industry professional side of me.

I am a prolific writer. My Weekend Updates show the personal side of me in open journal entries about me and my family.

I am a published writer. My Christian magazine articles have been published in the Herald of Holiness (now known as Holiness Today), copyright January 1996-December 1997.

I am an occasional teacher. My Marriage and Parenting class is a series of Adult Bible studies.

I live in an anitique Victorian home that was built in 1860 affectionately known as Metcalfe Manor.

I manage a web site that indexes my father's text and audi sermons. My father is Dr. Russell Metcalfe, Pastor Emeritus of the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene The sermons web site is intended to be a resource and inspiriation for pastors and laity alike.

I am a member of the Lowell First Church of the Nazarene in Lowell, Massachusetts. It is part of the worldwide Church of the Nazarene; an evangelical Protestant denomination. You can read more about the Statements of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene.
