read a story about them, particulary related to Italy.

Photography
Photography is considered an invention of Daguerre, since his machine, the
daguerrotype, was at its time the more famous. But at least other nine people,
in different ways, contributed to the development of this medium:
Archer, Bayard, Blanquart-Evrard, Eastman, Le Gray, Negre, Niepce, Talbot
and Wedgwood. Read also something about fashion photography.

Press

modern printing, its origins are older: during its evolution, inventors
created many tecniques, such as that of wood blocks.

Television
Since its birth television has been and still is a constant in our
lives, first with black and white television, then with color television,
and now with the new developments such as digital television. Read the history
of this medium, and try to learn how it works (particularly black and white tvs,
but also color televisions).
