     They say mirrors don't lie
     And what you see
     Is what you are
     But it's only a reflection
     Of what's on the outside.
 
     But what about the inside
     Where no one can see?
 
     No, a mirror can't reflect
     That part of me.
 
     It can't see my pain
     It can't see my fears
     It can't see my hopes
     It can't see my dreams.
 
     No, a mirror can't see
     That part of me
     It only sees the outside
     The scars and sad eyes
     It can't reflect the beauty
     Inside of me.
 
     A mirror can't see
     The wounded child
     Inside of me
     It only reflects the outside
     The grown up part of me.
 
     Mirrors don't lie
     Yes, this is true
     But mirrors can't see
