Day 2: Thurbus Majus - Bulla Regia - Chemtou - Tabarka

After breakfast , departure to Thuburbo Majus . This town was first Lybian , then Punic had to pay tribute to Rome after Carthage defeat . A native town under HADRIAN It was made Roman colonia under COMMODUS who gave its free citizens a status of Roman citizens . Made rich by his wheat , Thuburbo Majus was in ist apogee during the second century 

After lunch at hotel Thugga , departure to Bulla Regia , where a fine collection of ruins could be seen : The great thermal springs , the theatre , the temple of Apollo and Isis the christian Basilica and its baptistry , and remarkable underground houses

Continuation to Chemtou ( SIMITTUS ) , an old Numidian city ( necropolis , sanctuary ) built under Massinissa’s son

Continuation to Tabarka,to your hotel( 3 Stars ) or a similar one . in Tabarka Accomodation , dinner and overnight
