Solutions and Suggestions

Cuebiyar Jen

Jen very nearly smiled amidst her anger as she listened to the Purples speak. "The Amyrlin's study," she mused. "I never thought of that. Actually," she pointed out, "I never thought of breaking and entering, but ... what if we didn't need to physically enter the White Tower? Tel'aran'rhiod is also a viable option. I am well aware that some of us are skilled in that area." She nodded to Ryn.

Ryn...

She was useful, Jen realized suddenly, in areas other than Dreamwalking. The White Tower didn't know that she had joined the Purple, did they? She possibly still had ties to them. Jen would have to talk with her afterwards. Lyanne and Kait would certainly be useful in their attempts, and with a few alterations using Illusion just in case they might happen to be noticed ... and Mera's expertise in that Talent was astonishing. She may have to hold Haplo back, though, open attack wasn't exactly what she had in mind.

"Those who are knowledgeable of the World of Dreams, please meet me in the counterpart of my study this evening ... we're going to take a little vacation." Jen clapped her hands in almost vile glee at what would be accomplished tonight.

"Anyone who thinks they can charm some of the WT's Gaidin can go along with Lyanne and Kait tomorrow afternoon. Katja, Vree, Patty ... use the wolves to help you." The names of any other wolfkin had slipped her mind at the moment; she might remember them later. "Laraina and Nyna, get some campaign posters made. I know that seems a little arbitrary, but I know you guys can pull through on that. We'll have anyone capable of non-channeling self-defense hang them around the city tomorrow when the charmers go off to the training grounds. (Stay away from the WT when you do this!) Anyone and everyone else--do whatever you can; we need all the help we can get!

"Oh, and one more thing ... while we're all here, anyway. Vree, congrats, you're the Indigo Sitter!" Jen half-<snerk>ed and half-laughed in a maniacal combination of what was to come.

Because now, they would all be ready for it.

SianSepta Lia, Plum

Lia stood, Tapping her cigarette on the windowsill and looking, well, as professionally formal as she could in jeans, trailing smoke from her mouth. Her silver lips twisted as she spat the words out, " Mother... Mom... Jen... We.. " She gestured about her, " Are not, Aes Sedai... we are Ayende Vera... Seekers of Truth.. Protectors of truth... We are the studiers of Faith in our own beings.. of uniqueness, and of ourselves. We train in the use of the One Power, Yes... But we do not use it to place ourselves above the ones who were not Blessed, or in my opinion, Cursed with this Magic. We are purple.. A color mixed from the busyness of Blue and the anger of Red.. The desire to Help, and the need to destroy.... I have no desire nor will to deal with those women any longer... You know, after what was done to me, that I would rather burn their Tower down than settle easily... You also know that I have little desire to befriend those who have no will of their own, nor any acceptance of what WE are... We are not Aes Sedai... We never were, and we may never be... Whether some still hold ties to the Tower or not.. We are The Purple Tower. It will not be long before someone finds the Annex.. all we can do, is hope that once they are here, we can keep them. If a war begins, so be it... You all know that the few of us in this room are stronger than the entire Tower... If not for the simpleness that we are not bound to any tool... We are not bound to any laws or rules. And we believe in ourselves, when no one else would... "She took a long drag from her cigarette, " And in my opinion, Mom, those Aes Sedai, can smolder in their tower of laws and rules that they themselves break... " Tossing the cigarette on the floor and stamping upon it, her silver eyes flashing the anger she barely showed, "And If they cross me, They WILL Remember who Liandrin Sedai was.... and who Ayende Lia is...."

She sat back down, her dark smile upon her face, and evil thoughts twisting her mind...

Studè Ryn

Ryn entered the Cuebiyar's quarters, ecstatic to be of service. she fingered her ter'angreal ring idly, hanging on a leather string around her neck, then stuffed it into her shirt. She had changed into more comfortable clothing... overalls that didn't restrict her breathing for the oboe, and her hair back in a ponytail to stay out of her face for the piano. She had been figuring out a rachmaninoff prelude.

Ryn looked to the Cuebiyar. "I am very strong in Dreamwalking, but illusion is not my forte... of course, that won't really be a problem in Tel'aran'rhiod, but I figured I'd let you know." She curtseyed out of habit. "Also, there's been some quiet talk amongst the Greys to mediate the situation. They actually wanted me to seek out the purples for a conference, so I'm not sure what to do."

Anima Patty

Patty finished organizing her notes on the impromptu meeting Jen had called. Kait and Lyanne were off to seduce some poor unsuspecting Warders. They looked great! And totally unrecognizable. Merenda's glaumors worked fantastically. The others had dispersed to their various tasks.

Patty pushed her hair back behind her right ear. It was time for her to begin her task as well. She had some time yet before needing to meet Jen and the other Dreamwalkers. Patty pushed herself away from her desk and put on her boots. Time for a walk. Time for the wolves.

As Patty closed the door to her room behind her, the irony of their living situation made her smile. Could there be a more perfect place for the Purple Tower to be housed than in a former high school? This is what the White Tower should have been, could have been. A place built for people to really learn. But not only learn by rote....learn by experimenting and exploring. As a former Brown, Patty certainly missed the phenomenal library housed in the White Tower, but there was so much more out there to learn, and not all of it could be found in books.

Patty made her way down the darkening stairwell. It was funny. Some of the scariest dreams she'd ever had as a child involved abandoned school buildings; and now she was living in one. But this building had life and a spirit. A spirit that needed to be tended and fought for. That's what this was about.

Patty let her feet take her the familiar route out to the field. The track had been overgrown and only one upright still stood. But this was the closest to "nature" she'd get in the heart of Tar Valon. Patty made herself comfortable on the bleachers and let her eyes take in the green around her as her mind wandered.

:::Brothers. I seek advice.::: Wolves lived in a structured society, but Patty wasn't so sure what they'd understand about politics. Wolves also adhered to a strong code of honor. Patty and the other Wolfkin in the PT might no longer live in the WT, but to the wolves, their two-legged friends ran with the same pack. They probably wouldn't understand the intriguing going on, and would certainly not approve of pack members plotting against each other. She needed to proceed carefully.

By the time Patty trudged back to the Annex, it was fully dark. She hadn't gotten any information from the wolves, per say. They didn't understand the upheaval between the two Towers. And Patty knew the wolves wouldn't be easy with spying on members of the White Tower Wolfkin. That just wouldn't be done. So, instead she asked some particularly close pack mates of hers to keep an "ear to the ground" so to speak. To keep an eye out for any unusual presences that may wish harm on the Purple Tower and those within. She didn't hold out much hope because she knew that so much of the trouble was man-made.

Patty heaved a heavy sigh and hoped the others were coming up with more information than she had. Maybe she'd have better luck Dreamwalking with Jen and the others tonight. She picked up her step. Time for a hot shower before meeting the others. Then...into the world of dreams.

SianSepta Kait, Mauve

Kaitlyn licked her lips and looked Jorien up and down. Then she smiled softly. "Yes, I think you can. My friend and I are looking to unwind after a long day's work. We came here in hopes of finding good company, good drinks, and a good pool game or two." She winked. "Looks like we came to the right place."

Several of the Warders laughed, and chairs were pulled out for them. She and Lyanne sat and joined in the Warders' conversation. The Warder of one of the Blue Sisters bought the two women drinks, and Kaitlyn returned the favor by buying them all a round. With the alcohol flowing, tongues were sure to loosen, she figured.

They spoke of inconsequentials, and beside her Kaitlyn sensed that Lyanne was growing impatient to get on with their mission. She suggested that they play a game of pool. Jorien was one of those who followed her and Lyanne to the pool table in the corner. After a few minutes, as she leaned over the table to line up a crucial shot (noticing that several of the Warders were admiring her form as she did so ;-), she casually brought up the subject of the current civil unrest about the Purple Tower.

SianSepta Vree, Indigo

"Well, I think me and Patty are planning a venture into Tel'aran'rhiod around midnight. Would you join us, Mom?" Vree threw Jen a mischievous glance.

Jen smiled, "I'll see what I can do, Vree."

Vree nodded, "If you can make it, Mom, we'll be waiting in the Tel'aran'rhiod grove at midnight." Vree nodded respectfully and closed the door behind her.

Anima Patty

Patty was refreshed after her shower. It was kind of not the point to be refreshed in order to go to sleep, but a trip to Tel'aran'rhiod was no ordinary dream. Patty settled herself on her bed and tugged her Mickey Mouse nightshirt into a more comfortable position. She rubbed her purple ring absently as she let herself drift into sleep. She arrived in the Tel'aran'rhiod grove a few minutes before Vree and Jen and waited for them to arrive.
