Brief Description (physical appearance & personality)::
Raven is 5' 10" with long, dyed-black hair and brown eyes over which she frequently wears violet contacts. She dresses all in black (with occasional touches of deep burgundy), wears WAY too much make-up, and is frequently seen smoking clove cigarettes.

Special Abilities and/or Channelling Strengths:
Raven can blend into shadows if she wishes and is disturbingly good at intimidating people.

History:
Raven was born and raised in New Manetheran by her quite stereotypical upper-middle-class parents. From the time she was a small child, she knew she wanted to go into the arts, although she still isn't sure which art she wishes to focus on. The Purple Ajah left the White Tower around the time that Raven graduated from high school and Raven followed the news reports on the "Darkfriend Purples" religiously. She was certain that the much of what the White Tower said about the Purples was pure propaganda. When she was young and still harbored dreams of becoming Aes Sedai, Raven had wanted to be Purple and she simply could not believe that the women whose lives and art she had studied were all Darkfriends.

A few months later the New Manetheran School for the Arts was opened. At first, Raven was interested in the school solely on the basis that in was a school for the arts, but then she started noticing some odd things. For instance, the Dean's face was peculiarly ageless and there seemed to be several dangerous looking people associated with the school who were decidedly NOT students or teachers. And then there were the explosions, people sneaking about in the middle of the night. All of this led her to one answer -- the New Manetheran School for the Arts was actually the Purple Tower! Even as certain as she was, it took Raven several months too work up the courage to approach the members of the Purple Tower. After all, to do so was to commit treason against the White Tower. Eventually, however, she overcame her fears and joined the Purple Tower as a Warder in Training and (in the little time she wasn't spending training as a Warder) a student of the arts.
