Shiori Minamino

When the Youko Kurama's soul traveled to the Ningenkai and entered into Shiori's womb, he planned to live in that world until 15 years old to get his powers again and go back to Makai. But when he saw the love she gave to him, he decided to stay with her until his human's body died.
Minamino Shiori was the first person Kurama Youko loved...I think he liked a lot of Kuronue, but when he died the youko didn't want to like anyone more...(that's my opinion...^_^), but he couldn't help but loved his mother who was so kind and sweet with him.
For her, he stole the Reikai Mirror.

Kurama knew Yusuke when he had stolen the Mirror. He said to Urameshi that he would give back the Mirror as soon as he saved his mother's life.
Yusuke believed in his words and listened to the youko's story. Kurama was very surprised in see that someone was listening to him, and the boy was with him when he asked for the Mirror to save his mother's life. The object asked his own life for this and he accepted.
Urameshi couldn't see that thing without doing nothing and asked to the Mirror to take his life too, in order to leave Kurama alive.
The youko was again surprised with that attitude...The Mirror accepted Yusuke's request and didn't take their lives.
After this day, Kurama passed to help Yusuke in his missions, and their friendship grew up. Actually, Urameshi is like a brother to Kurama.

The youko knew Kuwabara after knowing Yusuke. Their first meeting was when the group went to fight with Suzako and the other youkais.
At first, Kuwabara thought Kurama was very snobbish because his attacks were always beautiful and gracious, but soon he learned to like the youko and he always help when he can. After Yusuke, Kurama is Kuwabara's best friend.
Kurama can see the side of Kuwabara that almost no one can see. He likes Kuwabara because of his good heart and his innocence, and he can see the strength there are inside the human.
 

Hiei

Again...what can I say about these two? They are so *CUTE* together!^_^
When Kurama was 14 years old, he was challenged by a little youkai all dressed in black, to fight with him. The two fought. In that time, Kurama wasn't so powerful...but for an accident, one of his attacks defeated his opponent, who fell to the ground unconsciously.
The little Shuiichi took him to home and cared of his injuries in his bedroom. When the youkai wake up, he asked him his name... And so he answered: Hiei.
Kurama asked him why did he want to fight with him and Hiei answered that he had came to the Ningenkai in order to find na youkai who had stole from him something very precious and when he felt Kurama's youki, he thought he was the youkai.
At this time, Kurama discovered that one youkai had sequestered one girl that was trying to be his girlfriend. He and Hiei went to find the demon and they defeated the guy, working together very well.
The youko saved the girl and erased from her memory what she had saw. When he was going back to home with the girl in his arms and Hiei at his side, the little youkai asked his name. He answered: Kurama. And then Hiei was vanished.
After one year he appeared again to invite Kurama to help him to steal the Three Reikai Treasures and after this, he started to help Kurama, Yusuke and Kuwabara in their missions for Koenma.
Kurama cares too much for Hiei. He is the only one who understand the koorime's feelings. We can see in many little details in the anime and manga how much Hiei means to Kurama. Just his face when the koorime is getting injuried or is using the Kokuryuha says everything.
And still, they don't say anything to each other. But I think they don't need to...^.^
