1963 Dart 270  2-Door sedan
A slightly dressier Dart was the Series 270 Model 731 2-door sedan. This little car was the least costly of the medium priced Dart 270 Series models. It sold for $2,079, weighed 2,624 pounds.

 The 1963 Dart was one of the most attractively styled cars ever put forth by Chrysler and offered plenty of interior room for six passengers as well as their luggage. These cars had an overall length of 195.9 inches in sedan or coupe form. This attractive Series 270, Model 733, 4-door sedan cost $2,135 and weighed 2,644 pounds.

Taking a gradient at the massive Chrysler test track at Chelsea, Michchigan, is the top model in the new Dart line-up The Dart GT Series was available in two body styles and, like all 1963 Darts, was powered by the 170 cubic inch slant Six. This model 742  2-Door hardtop weighed 2,661 pounds and cost $2,289.

Although the Dart station wagons rode on the same 111-inch wheelbase as the sedans, they had an over-all length of 190.2 inches. The largest, heaviest, and most costly of the 270 Series models was the station wagon Model 776. This car, seen with optional roof rack and radio as well as custom wheel covers, is a striking example of the attractive lines which adorned the Dart wagon. The standard 270 station wagon cost $2,433 and weighed 2,745 pounds.

The highest style Dart was also the most expensive. This was the Series GT convertible, Model 745. Most noticeable of the GT features were the small GT plaques, bucket seats, and small trim appointments. The GT Convertible sold for $2,5l2 with the 170 cubic inch slant Six.

 


The standard size Dodge no longer bore any name other than Dodge and a series designation. Riding on a 119-inch wheelbase, the lowest priced of the new Dodges was the Series 330, offered in three body styles. The 330 Series was available with the buyer's choice of either a Six or a V-8 engine. The 330 Series offered this 4-Door sedan. With a Six it was called a Model 413, cost $2,301 and weiged 3,064 pounds. The V-8 version was the Model 613. It sold for $2,408, and weighed 3,253 pounds.
