Least costly of the standard size Dodges was the 330 series 2-door
sedan. With a 6-cylinder engine this car went for $2,245, weighed
3,029 pounds, and was called a Model 411. Model 611 was the
series 330 2-door sedan with a V-8 engine. This car cost $2,352 and
weighed 3,218 pounds. The standard Six for these standard size cars
was the 225 cubic inch 145 horsepower slant six, while the standard
V-8 was the 318 cubic inch engine that developed 230 horsepower at
2400 RPM with a 2-barrel carburetor. |

The Dodge 440 was also offered as a stylish 2-door hardtop, with
either the 225 slant Six or a 318 cubic inch V-8. The Model 422
2-door hardtop 440 sold for $2,470 and weighed 3,053 pounds with
the slant Six. The model 622 was the 440 2-door hardtop with the
318. This car cost $2,577 and weighed 3,242 pounds.

Top of the flock of standard Dodges for 1963 was the Polara series
offered in four body styles. The Polara was equiped with the 318 cubic
inch 230 horsepower V-8 as standard equipment on all models. The
2-Door hardtop or Model 632 sold for $2,732 and weighed 3,280
pounds.

Dodge offered the series 440 in the full size medium price class. This
line was available in four body types. Both the 4-door sedan and the
2-door sedan were offered with the buyers choice of a Six or a V-8.
The least costly was the 2-door body style, Model 421 with the Six.
This version cost $2,381 and weighed 3,038 pounds. The V-8 version
of the 2-Door was called a Model 621, cost $2,489 and weighed
3,232 pounds. The 4-door sedan was a Model 423 with a Six. It sold
for $2,438, weighed 3,068 pounds. The Model 623 was the Series
440 4-Door sedan with a V-8 engine, and went for $2,546 while
tipping the scales at 3,262 pounds.

There was no doubt that the Polara 4-door sedan, Model 633, was a
luxurious car. Both the exterior and the interior trimmings gave this fact
away. This stylish offering sold for $2,709 and weighed 3,305 pounds.
