1963 Dodge Polara 4-Door Hardtop
Dodge's pride and joy was the Polara Model 634 4-door hardtop. With all the luxury of any car in its class, the Polara 4-door hardtop carried a sticker price of $2,781 and tipped the scales at 3,370 pounds.

       

  1963 Dodge Polara Convertible
Top of the standard Polara series was the Model 635 convertible. A luxuriously sporting offering, this car went for $2,963 and weighed 3,380 pounds. Although the standard engine for the Polara Series was the 230 horsepower 318. Dodge offered a vast array of optional V-8's ranging up to 426 cubic inches and 425 horsepower at 5600 RPM.

 

1963 Dodge 330 & 440, 6 Passenger station wagons
Standard size station wagons were offered by Dodge in both the 330 and the 440 Series. The Series 330 wagons were available with either the V-8 or a Six, while Series 440 models were offered as V-8 wagons only. The 330 6-cylinder 6-passenger wagon cost $2,748. weighed 3,293 pounds and was designated a Model 456. The V-8, 6-passenger 330 wagon went for $2,756 while weighing 3,478 pounds. The more luxurious 440 wagon went for $2,854 as a two seat wagon.  

 

1963 Dodge Polara 500 2-Door hardtop
The true top of the standard size Dodge line was the Polara 500 Series of two body styles. This was basically a special exterior and interior trim package, but these specially adorned cars were powered by a 318 cubic inch V-8 developing 305 horsepower at 4600 RPM. The Polara 500 2-door hardtop was designated the Model 642. It carried a price tag of $2,965 and weighed 3,426 pounds.

Special exterior chrome trim and bucket seats with special upholstering were the outstanding appearance features designating the Polara 500 models. The most expensive of the standard size Dodges for 1963 was the Polara 500 convertible, Model 645. This car cost $3,196 and weighed 3,546 pounds. Special brushed chrome panels appear just behind the rear bumper and on the side of the fender.
