*zooming through the dense fleet the HGS Creapy Crawly fires and kills a Xanarious ship with full forward firepower, it then zips to the side and on the forward scope watches as three Xanarious ships zoom in and take out a cruiser, the HGS Frantic Lobster, with rage in his eyes the Captain goes full forward firing at two of the three ships and taking one out and sending the other into a nearby Imperial Cruiser, the remaining ship fires and sends the HGS Creapy Crawly rolling end over end until it stabalises and repairs the damage* WOOOOOOO, WHAT A RUSH!

*Regaining control of his ship, the emperor concentrates, and reaches into the minds of his fleet captains. Clamping down on their confusion with an iron will, he command them to pull back from engagement and regroup on his flag.* The enemy is taking advantage of our dispersion, and damaged sensors. Team up into groups and head for my flagship. I want you to take defensive spheric formation, with the strongest ships on the outer perimeter. Those with operational sensors maintain position within the inner shell. *The emperor's ship Iron Fist dives deep into the swirling gas clouds thrown off by Neptune. The defenders will also suffer sensor degradation if they attempt to press the attack. In various sized clusters, the emperor's fleet stream from the battlefield, retreating before a much smaller enemy to regroup. Taking hits, they unleash group-based counter-battery fire. Each attacking enemy ship faces a barrage from the entire moving group. As they near the Iron Fist, the groups merge together and form an impenetrable wall of guns.* Activate comm-net to share sensor data between ships, then launch fighters. Their undamaged sensors will be our eyes. Maintain distance to within maximum combined battery range. *As the fighters stream out, they provide over twenty thousand sets of mobile, dispersed sensors. Anything attempting to attack this formation will receive concentrated fire from hundreds of capital ships at once. The shots may not be all that accurate, but with that many capships, they can afford to saturate an area of space with the equivalent of a shotgun storm of canon fire. Meanwhile, within the formation, repairs proceed at a furious pace.*

Try to run away from ME will you? Helm, AFTER THA-- *he is cut off by the officer at Ops: "Sir, the scan of the starship's superstructure was disrupted by Neptune's clouds We have a rough map of their entire Starboard side and some guesses regarding the rest. We were also able to locate one fighter bay on the belly of the ship."* Excelent. Take us to that fighter bay immediately! *"But, sir. They have way to much cover fire going on, we'll never make it."* What are you talking about we have Main Character Syndrome on our side. They'll never hit us so long as at least one person on board has a name.

Jadesfire watches, frowning, as the fleet regroups. Keying in an order, she reaches out her mind, implanting fear and confusion in the enemy's subconsciousness....and shielding a certain ship from conscious detection...

*Takes a sip from his china tea cup* Hmmm, brave lad that TDK fellow *SLURP* AARRRRRGGGGGGG!! Wha...wha...whats that?!?! *an officer standing by him speaks "Sir, its one of them spider things" looking at the spider you can clearly spot a similar look of shock on its tiny robotic face* Well get the damn thing off my tea cup will you!!! *"Yes Sir, at once" the officer picks the spider up and places it on some electronic equipment where it sets to work on some task* Right, next time someone makes my cuppa, MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO BLOODY SPIDERS ON THE CUP!!!

Open a hailing frequency to TDK will you? *Comm officer: "Hailing Frequencys Open Sir"* TDK, I must warn you that Main Character Syndrome was cured and we are all immune to it, sorry...

What?! Oh, s***! We're too close to turn around! COMPUTER! Gimme that manual control joystick thing! *a flightsick pops up in the middle of the bridge, nowhere near any of the seats.* What stupid engineer would put a joystick THERE of all places? *walks up to it and starts pushing it around to avoid the incoming blasts* We just need to get in atmosphere. Then they won't be able to see us either....

Suddenly, an explosion blossoms below the surface of the spere....followed by several more as enormous pieces of shrapnel penetrate the hulls of the weaker ships inside the perimeter. Escaping from the wreckage, 5 particular fragments speed away, their linked-repulsorlift engines effective in the limited atmosphere shielding the enemy vessels. Secondary explosions begin to blossom as the 5 small ships, revealed to be Scimitar II bombers presumably carried on the outer TIE racks of the Carrack fire-ship, launch their nonstandard proton torpedo ordinance at disabled vessels. The density of the ships make it difficult at first for the ships to destroy the offending fighters, but they attempt to do so...and are attacked from behind by the rest of the stealthed fighter squadron.Too soon, however, the enemy begins to regroup, but the damage has been done. The shielded Thrawn-era bombers do surprisingly well, and only three are destroyed before the bombers manage to return to the relative safety of the _Insufficiently Reluctant_. Moving closer to the milling and uncertain victims of the assault, the SSD slices through the fighter cover with the help of its Lancer escort...and then retreats...the purpose is not to destroy, but to confuse as long as neccesary...and to provide a distraction for TDK's vulnerable starship to either pull out or continue to the core of the sphere...

Officer : Captain, the enemy has regrouped into a new formation. Cyborg Stan : Can TDK get through? The Emperor MUST be neutralized. Officer : At the current situation.... there's a 99.9% chance that he'd be blown up before he could even get close. Cyborg Stan : Heh. That's not too bad. Officer : Y-Yes it is. I already factored in the main-character luck forces. Without it, it would be a 1 in 10^65 shot. Cyborg Stan : DAMN! Well, there must be some way around this... OFFICER! Officer : Yes? Cyborg Stan : Order the Voyager directly behind us! Reactors at overload! All power to engines and forwards shields! RAMMING SPEED! *Cyborg's fighters begin regrouping, The Quicksilvers charge to the spot at which the _Slicer_ was going to ram... distracting their eyes for a moment, it gives the _Slicer_ a precious, fire-free moment. Then a shot hit. Followed by a hundred more. The _Slicer_ begins an agnozied turn, bearing it's engines and rear turrets. Occupied with the enormous battleship before it, they didn't notice the small ship that slipped out from behind it. Furiously firing into the enemy formations still, the _Slicer_ appeared to be lost...*

As more and more ships become aware of the Voyager's presence (not helped any by the crazed swirling hologram of the Tazmanian Devil), the tracking saturation fire increases until there is nowhere to maneuver. The space all around the Voy is filled with canon fire. Even the shots that miss ionize the gas cloud, causing deterioration of the Voy's shields. Not being a (total) fool, the Klingon turns about, heeding the Cyborg's call, and uses its speed advantage to escape out of the obscuring gas cloud. As the Voy exits, fighters take potshots at it before returning to the safe perimeter. With the shields glowing an angry red, the Voy quickly takes position behind the rapidly approaching Slicer.
