| 1963 Impala New Styling...But Still 100 Percent Impala. |
If the press didn't pay attention to the '63 Impala, you really couldn't blame them. After all, the stunning Corvette Sting Ray - complete with a split-rear-window coupe - was enough to take anyone's breath away. But, in cities and town all across America, the restyled '63 Impala was recognized by the driving public for what it was - ans outstanding all-around value, and significabtly improved car. The '63 was sharp-edged, angular, with more than a hint of 1961 Cadillac in the lower body lines. As before, the six-taillamp look was an Impala focal point. Under the hood, the ever-popular 283-cubic-inch V8 engine jumped 20 horsepower, to 195. | |||||||||||||||||||
