Next day, with dry clothes and after breakfast, live looked very much better. Rain had stopped and we started to repair the ZXR Tyre. We used a can of TyrePilot, a french product of sprayed gum which I brought with me. It was the first time I ever used Gumspray like this and I was sceptical. But it works very fine: We sprayed the heated gum into the tyre, drove a few kilometers with the bike to make the centrifugal force distribute the gum equally around the tyre and then brought the air pressure on the right level. This lasted until the end of our journey.

We left Galati with the ferry boat towards Tulcea. Our route crossed the Donau Delta, the only possible way to go with a motor vehicle. The rest of the delta is a nature reservation in which motor vehicles (even motorboats) are prohibited. It is possible to camp on an official campground and go around by boat. To see the delta it is the best to go on a guided tour.
