Once you arrive at your selling dealer be prepared to be greeted by a salesperson. Please think of this as a courtesy and do not attempt to wave off the salesperson. He has been instructed to be with you during your sales experience. If you want to look by yourself for a short period, inform the salesperson of your intentions. He might leave or stay a short distance away until you acknowledge him.
Proceed to the location where the vehicle you are interested in is located. Once at that location draw upon the salesperson's experience to learn about your new vehicle. A problem may occur where the salesperson is either new to the automobile industry or just does not know his product. In this case decide whether to find another salesperson with knowledge or see if he/she can obtain the information that you seek. (Try to give the salesperson a chance).
After 3 to 5 minutes both you and the salesperson will know if you like each other. Did I say like? Yes I did. The sales experience will take at least 1-2 hours and possibly more. You need to be able to feel "comfortable" with him/her. If you discover that you and he/she have a problem in some way, do not hesitate to ask for another salesperson, or seek one out by your self.
Up to now no real problems and isn't it fun to look at cars. It is the American Dream and with our mobile society, we all need one.
