Want to know what's been happening at The Tangled Web? This is what happened in November of 1998.

November 25, 1998 -- The exciting news for this week is that one of my graphic sets was selected as the "Set of the Week!" at Cathy's Home Page. As for the rest of The Tangled Web, I added a whole slew of Linkware Graphic Sites to my Links page. They are all worth checking out, even if you aren't looking for web graphics right now. I also added a link to a new web browser application I found. It's called NEOPLANET and is free, very customizeable and small enough to download quickly. This will probably be the last update until after Thanksgiving, so have a happy holiday and I'll see you next week!

November 23, 1998 -- Finally! Another tutorial. Essential Elements discusses some of the pages and page elements that are essential to any good web site. This is, in some ways, a work in progress. I will be adding and expanding on this list as time goes by. I have also reorganized the site a little bit. I've added a Memberships page that lists the different organizations I belong to and causes I support. You really ought to check them out. I have also combined the tutorials list into a single page for your convenience.

November 20, 1998 -- More new sets. The first is called Floral Embroidery. I think the black background really sets off the vibrant colors of the flowers. The second is called Lavender and it is a more muted set. We now have an even dozen sets!

November 18, 1998 -- Added two more sets, called Stained Glass and Peach. I know I haven't been adding any new tutorials, but I've been having so much fun making graphic sets, that other things have fallen by the wayside. I would really appreciate some feedback on the graphics and the few tutorials I do have. I would also be grateful if you would let me know what it is that you are having the most trouble with and then I could concentrate my tutorials efforts on that.

November 16, 1998 -- Added not one, but three new sets, called Rainbow, Red Flower and Emerald.

November 13, 1998 -- Haven't done much here, but I have added a couple of new links that are worth checking out. I also found a new program that I want to tell you about. Actually, it's two programs. They are called Buttonz! and Tilez! and, appropriately enought, they are used to make buttons and tiles for web sites. They are really fun to use and I found myself just playing around to try out different effects. The best part of these two Windows 95 applications is that they are FREE! I haven't really had time to do much else here, because I've been creating a family site for myself at TalkCity. November 1, 1998 -- The site re-design continues. Actually, it will probably continue for quite some time. I've been playing around with different layouts and graphics for this site and haven't yet settled on the one I really want to use. I've added a new graphic set, but not much else has changed. The set is called Tie Dye 3 and, in case you're wondering, Tie Dye 2 is not quite complete. I have only the background and bar. Once the rest of the set is complete, it will be here too. Updates haven't been quite as regular as I would like partly because I've just gotten a new computer and am still in the process of getting all my software set up. I didn't realize just how much "stuff" I had until I got the new system.
