Jack's Opinion

These are my Grandfather’s views on the war if you have your own views please fell free to sign the guest book an express your views.

Jack was not terribly concerned about the political causes of the war his main concerns were that Australia was directly threatened by Japanese invasion. He had also heard of barbaric treatment by Japanese soldiers to civilians and prisoners of war. He and his fellow Australian solders despised and hated the Japanese. So in spite of the re-writing of modern history by modern historians that the dropping of the Atom bomb on Hiroshima should not have happened  Jack believed and other allied soldiers believed that it ended the war and saved the lives of thousands of our solders.
