Installing the IRC Client Software
Well if you ar at step 3, then you are almost done with this process. In this step
you will install or setup the IRC software which you will be able to use to connect to the IRC server.
Installation Notes For Windows 95 Users
1) From the "START MENU", select "PROGRAMS", then click on "WINDOWS EXPLORER"
2) Once "WINDOWS EXPLORER" opens, look for the locationf of where you saved the IRC software.
3) Double click on the file to start installation
4) Once the setup program starts, select a "DESTINATION DIRECTORY". In most cases (or for less experienced
users) the default dorectory is fine and in most cases shouldn't be changed.
5) Click "INSTALL"
6) After the installation completes, simply run the program from the "START MENU"
Installation Notes For Windows 3.x Users
1) Open the program group "MAIN", and double click on the
"FILE MANAGER" icon.
2) Once "FILE MANAGER" opens, look for the locationf of where you saved the IRC software.
3) Double click on the file to start installation
4) Once the setup program starts, select a "DESTINATION DIRECTORY". In most cases (or for less experienced
users) the default dorectory is fine and in most cases shouldn't be changed.
5) Click "INSTALL"
6) After the installation process is complete, open the "mIRC" program group, and double click on "mIRC"
