Citizenship Services

Employment Services

  • Job orientation, counseling, assessment of abilities, VESL, vocational training, job search workshops, job placement, and follow-up. Free services to welfare recipients referred by the Refugee Central Intake Unit

Immigration Assistance

  • Family reunification, applications for permanent residency, naturalization, adjustment of status, and re-entry permits.

Resettlement and Social Adjustment

  • Reception, transportation, temporary housing, initial survival needs, orientation and follow-up. Referral, counseling and crisis intervention.

Refugee Central Intake

  • Screening, assessment and referral of newly-arrived refugees to appropriate services, with follow-up and re-assessment as necessary; determination of payment assistance for child care, transportation, and work-related expenses.

Advocacy & Community Empowerment

  • SEACC advocates for the rights of refugees & immigrants; designs and implements programs to help empower the Southest Asian community.
