Wm. S. Kimbell b. 26 Jan 1805 NC d 29 Apr 1878 Moved to Darbonne, Claiborne Parish, La. after 1850. He died in and was buried at Kimbell Cemetary at Claiborne Parish. William was from North Carolina, and moved to Henry Co. Ga after the death of his wife. Moved to Claiborne Co La. with new wife Julia C. Mitchell, and children from 1st marriage. In 1870 he swore oath of allegiance in Claiborne Psh. stating he had been in Louisiana for 12 years.
