Discovered Boulenger, 1887
Size small  16 -18 cm or 6.5 - 7 inches
Sexual Dimorphism Males are smaller with higher casques, display more color than females, and have Hemipenal bulge at the base of the tail.
Parity ovoviviparous 
Description This very colorful cham displays colors from yellow, gray, brown, black, green, blue, red, orange, pink, violet, and white. The body scalation is heterogeneous and the limbs, abdomen,  and tail have enlarged lentil or double convex shaped scales. The head sports a high round casque with no occipital lobes. the gular crest consists of small flaps covered with tiny scales.
