Size small  28  cm or 11 inches
Sexual Dimorphism The male xenorhinum possesses a bifurcated, spatulate rostral appendix, while the female shows a small nub. Males of this species are uniform olive in color and females are brown.
Parity oviparous
Description They sport a huge casque peaked by a curved parietal crest and well developed lateral crest. Scalation is heterogeneous.
