SegaNet not Dead

During the Sega press conference I mentioned earlier, Peter Moore stated, "Utilizing the SegaNet network, Sega will be able to bring network gaming to virtually any platform, from other videogame consoles to other Internet devices." This is very reassuring to Dreamcasters who were afraid their newly acquired SegaNet subscription would be for naught. Just imagine signing up for an 18 month SegaNet subscription, only to have it cut short, because Dreamcast became non-existent; that would really bite. Now, imagine being able to play Unreal Tournament, Half Life, Quake 3 Arena, or any other online game, with X-Box, Playstation 2, Gamecube, and even PC owners who have the same game; it would be very cool.

Now is a good time to sign up for SegaNet.
