My Review

This is my review of Final Fantasy VII.

Well, I loved it. I used to love RPG's but I got bored of the same old thing over and over, until I got FFVII. You start up thrown into the game without much information and you're supposed to decipher it. What makes the game so great is its intricate story line. It has the deepest, most interesting storyline I've seen in a game thus far. This is the game that keeps you glued to the playstation day after day until you've finished it. Though its more than an RPG, it includes lots of fun arcarde style parts. Like racing chocobos' (Kinda like giant chickens) and snowboarding and the such. The graphics are beautiful, especially the full motion video. The music/sound is also great, but if you're stuck in a certain part with the same music going over and over it can get a little annoying I must say. (Damn that chocobo racing music!!) And when the add says over 40 hours of gameplay, well thats quite an underestimate for you're average gamer. The first time I went through I made it in about 50 hours. Though I missed some things, that would have taken extra time. (I'm going to play it again and get all the stuff I missed =) ) Now for the downsides ... I think the game was a little too easy. You're pretty much told where to go and what to do. And there is only one ending to the game. But thats all I can find in this game that isn't great.

Overall a terrific game and a MUST for any Playstation owner, especially if you like RPG's. I give it 92%.
