...a tan is a tan even if it is from a can
In the winter, a good tan is hard to maintain mostly because you’re stuck indoors. Now the craze that has teens anticipating the arrival of their prom, lets you not only stay indoors during this blustery weather, but helps to revitalize the color you may already have.

Already, tanning salons all over America are getting ready for the rush during this pre-prom season, knowing that teens are going to want that bronzy attractive glow for the spring and festivities ahead.

As students walk through the halls of Neshaminy, what seems to catch everyone’s eye is the appealing line free color added to a majority of the girls.
Although this solution for instant tans seems fun and good looking, some people think this may not be in your best interest, considering the dangerous lights provided in the tanning beds.

Tanning sophomore Jessie Biundo has only good comments on this issue, “Tanning makes us teenage girls look and feel better, even if it isn’t noticeable by others. When we look better, we feel better about ourselves, and as long as we don’t tan everyday, the UV rays are not that harmful.”

Only the strongest of the tanning lotions are used in salons, so that you will be as safe as possible while stepping into the booth.
Knowing that you’re under responsible supervision from the workers in the salons, you should feel more confident then ever that this will be a rewarding experience.

“If you’re going to have fun, then there should be nothing holding you back from getting the best out of it as possible” responds Sheree Vitale, a proud frequent flyer at Hollywood Tans, the most commercialized salon.
Since suntans are hard to come by anymore, most people will strongly suggest this fast, fun, and easy way to get that beautiful natural looking base tan you may have never had the chance to get before.
