HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM - 8 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

It is important that you arrive early enough to complete your exam within the time allotted by yourprofessor. The Assessment Center staff members are not authorized to grant more time than your professor has allotted.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

You must present official photo identification such as a driver’s license, a school photo ID, a school yearbook with photo intact, a credit card photo ID, a passport, a green card, or other official document with your photo on it. Assessment Center staff members are not permitted to provide testing services without an appropriate photo ID.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU

When you arrive at the Assessment Center, please be prepared to provide the names of your professor, course, and test. If you require a computer to complete the test, you must reserve one at least two working days in advance of testing time.

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOUR PROFESSOR

Your professor will tell the Assessment Center staff what aids (notes, textbook, scratch paper, calculator, dictionary, etc.) you are allowed to use while taking a test. Your professor will also indicate when you may take the test, and the amount of time allotted. Assessment Center staff cannot administer tests on unauthorized days, allow the use of unauthorized aids, or grant extra testing time. Please obtain clarification from your professor regarding designated test dates, aids you may use, and/or the allotted time—before you arrive at the Assessment Center.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Notify your professor if the College Access Program/Disability Support Services staff has given you permission to use a computer or to receive extended testing time. Reservations for computers must be made at least two working days in advance. (There is an increased demand for computers during the English Competency testing periods and the placement testing periods.)

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Assessment Center staff members are required to document and report any evidence of, or the appearance of, academic dishonesty. For your protection, a video camera is used to observe all activities in the test site. Please refer to the section on academic honesty in the Montgomery College Student Handbook. Your failure to follow those rules could result in disciplinary action.
