SustDes and 3DRender

Written by Cameron Churchill, SustDes is a decision support system (DSS) for the design of new communities on "green fields". It is an MS-DOS based program, and requires several files as input (to define the design area). Available for download are the compressed executable file for SustDes (plus support files), as well as a compressed file containing example project files and documentation.

3DRender was written by Oliver Meyn as the viewing software for SustDes, and as such is required for viewing the output of SustDes. It, too, is an MS-DOS based program, and requires two line inputs. The compressed executable 3DRender (plus support files) is available for download here. Documentation for 3DRender is included with the support files for SustDes.

NetEval

Written by Oliver Meyn, NetEval is a shell program for three Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) whose task it is to evaluate proposed subdivision plans. The nature of ANNs is such that they require a very rigid format for their input, which in this version are limited to plan views of the original, AutoCAD rendered, output from SustDes (above). If you are interested in creating your own SustDes plans for use with NetEval, please contact Oliver. Below are two files for download : archive of the Win95/98 executable of NetEval with supporting files (including the 3 weight files for the ANNs, which expand to approximately 12 MB); and, brief documentation with some example plans (in .bmp format).
