This is the Star Wars section of my site. I spend a lot of money on this cool stuff. However, that does not make me an authority. I get most of my info from reading rec.arts.sf.starwars.collecting.misc newsgroup and swkennertoys on one list. I also subscribe to ASWN. Lots of updates there.
A little about my Star Wars world...
I only collect the new Kenner/Hasbro line of Star Wars figures.
I have one of each figure as it was first released, mint on the first card it came on. I also have most of the more common variations. This includes all Power of the Force, Shadows of the Empire and Expanded Universe figures, vehicles, and beasts they have made. As soon as The Fantom Menace figures come out I will get those.
I also buy the "buddies" for my wife. She needs to collect too :). If you would like to
trade, look at what I have to offer (I like to trade).
I do not have any of the 12'' dolls except for Boba Fett and the Wampa.
My favorite figures are Bossk, Slave Liea, Removable Helmet Vader, Greedo, and Ree Yees. Kenner artists did an excellent job with them.
My least liked figure would have to be the Rebel Fleet Trooper. He is WAY too tall! I don't know what they were thinking.
Also the "attack" R4-D5 is lame...(although I thought his
intended bio
was cool, but aren't they suposed to make the figure to fulfill the existing bio?)
I would someday like to design and manufacture my own line of toys. That is my dream. So in the mean time I have made my own
Star Wars Cards. I tried to customize a "removable helmet" Royal Guard and, well, at least I tried. My Cruse Missile Trooper is
coming out OK though. Right now I'm working on custom boxes (like Mace and Oola) to put the Han, Ben and Dann special
offers in. The Han box will resemble a Froot Loops box. When I finnish, I'll put them up.
