"This is section three, Cargo Bay. We've stopped the Spacers down here. Are the other nine sections clear?" That device must be a communicator that lets the pirates here communicate with the Bridge.
A voice from the communicator answers. You recognize that voice: it's Lothair. He says the other nine sections have stopped fighting.
You realize that a ship like the Farragut probably has several major sections, each one designed to be airtight in case the ship springs a leak anywhere. There's ten sections in the entire ship, so if there's at least one bomb in each section, there could be ten bombs hidden on the ship. But there could be more bombs. But that's something you need to find out later. For now, you just need to get away from this part of the ship, before the pirates come back and look for you.
So you peek out again, and see two ways out of this area of the Cargo Bay. Off to the left is a ship you don't recognize. The pirates are headed in that direction, and you notice a skull-shaped design painted on part of the ship. Off to the right, you see a lift elevator that could take you to other places in the ship. If you got into the lift, it would give you a chance to get out of the Cargo Bay.
Just then, you realize somebody must have dropped their laser pistol on the floor next to the lift. If you picked it up, you might be able to use it to fight off the pirates.
Which way do
you head?
Do you sneak to the left to investigate the pirate ship?
Do you sneak to the right and try to escape in the lift elevator?
