This is Justin Maxwell. You may know him as dj cleverhans. I refer to him affectionately as "tard." Of all the tards in the world, he is King. He is also a DJ (now in L.A., formerly in Washington D.C.), and probably my other best male friend in the world. Ain't he cute?
He used to hang out on the irc channel #industrial a lot, but there's a lot of stupid people there lately, so he doesn't come around as much as he used to. He's also on #synths a lot. He has a bunch of those damned things -- analog, even. It's like an addiction, I swear. He visited Seattle for a few days this summer, and all he wanted to do was look in all the pawn shops and used music equipment stores for old analog synths and drum machines. This kid is a fiend; a bloody synth fiend, I tell ya. If you have synths, or know where to get 'em, eMail him. He'll be your friend forever (or until he gets the goods). Also, if you have Borg stuff (you know, the Borg from Star Trek : The Next Generation? That cheesy cyberobotic thing that Captain Picard was turned into...?), or know where to get it, eMail him, 'cuz if he doesn't have it, he wants it.
He's working on some kind of project with Roger Jarvis (digital madman) of Kevorkian Death Cycle. I have yet to hear anything they've done, as every time they get together to work on stuff, Justin's old analog babies break down and he spends the rest of the time fixing them. By the time all is well, Roger has to leave. Sucks, don't it?
Justin also does the Cyberlogue club/radio top-howevermany charts, and the Mechanotherapy show on KSPC. He has web pages for all this stuff, so go to his index page and work your way out from there.
Anyway, like I said, Justin is one of my best friends, and I love him this much. (That's a lot, by the way.)
