Captain Kathryn Janeway

If you love Captain Kathryn Janeway, this is a great page for pictures. Some pictures have her new short hairstyle, which I think is really cute. It makes her look a little less severe. But most are pictures of Janeway with long hair tied up in her usual French twist. My personal favourite is one I nicknamed "Contemplation." (Though the one with Janeway and Q (John De Lancie) is pretty cute as well!) They look better in full size so click on any picture to get a close up!

Since this is my Janeway page, it seems the perfect place for one of my favourite quotes by her. It is Captain Kathryn Janeway's good-bye speech in "Resolutions."

"This is Kathryn Janeway. I never liked saying 'goodbye', so I'll make this brief. I just want you all to know that serving as your captain has been the most extraordinary experience of my life. No captain could ask more than what this crew has given--bravery, compassion, and strength of character. But what I'll miss most of all is the fun. The way we joked together, the games on the holodeck. I'll remember the laughter more than anything. Although Commander Chakotay and I won't be with you for the rest of your journey, we know that you'll be the same steadfast crew for Mr. Tuvok as you've been for us.
