DOWNSHIFT

Onmibot security agent.

Click picture to see original Character Study for Downshift. Makes sure areas that fellow Autobots are about to enter are safe. This usually means that he is in trouble most of the time, but that's the way he likes it. Jovial and is always ready to joke about situations, but gets very solemn when he needs to be serious.

He has a delicate touch for disarming booby-traps. His body is virtually impenetrable to direct fire, and has from time to time deflected shots at point blank range.

His audio receptors can decipher almost any sound. He can tell whether someone is telling the truth, and has a voice-print reader.

In car mode, he can swing down his doors to reveal missile launchers. When doors are down, he can use them for short range glider flights. A rust rifle is hidden under his sunroof.

In robot mode, the rust rifle becomes his gun, and the missile launchers mount on either side of his head. He can use his fenders as shields, and uses his hatch cover as a bomb shield for his head when he is disarming anything. His weakest spot is his underbelly, which is only when he is in car mode.

CAMSHAFT

Omnibot scout.

Click picture to see original Character Study for Camshaft. He is camera happy. He has cameras hidden all over his body. He will show off his cameras to anyone, even if he's fighting with him at the time. Was good friend of Bumblebee when he and the other Omnibots were incarcerated by the Decepticons. Now that he's free, he can't believe Goldbug (a.k.a. Bumblebee) is head of the scouts. Notes that Bumblebee could not focus a picture, let alone take one. He and Goldbug have continued their friendly rivalry since his return.

In car mode is fastest of the land based Omnis. He can flip open his hatch to reveal a photon energy projector missile launcher (a low powered version of a photon torpedo). The photon energy used in the missles is also used as strobe light for his cameras. He can direct this energy to his headlights to blind others. Missile launcher also launches camera drones. He can also drop roller cameras (6 in all). They work separate from himself, and are designed to self distruct if caught.

In robot form, MORE cameras appear. There are some in his chest plate, wrists, fenders, and his strongest, his own optic circuits. Most of his cameras can see the entire spectral range, though some are for specific uses, some of which even he doesn't know what for. Uses his fists as strobe units. He has a neutron blaster for a gun, but would rather dazzle his oposition with a strobe show. He can use his fenders as shields. Built in processing system can devellope anything with a photo emultion. Yearns for the ultimate telephoto lens. Weakest physically of the the Omnibots, relies on stelth to keep from becoming an outtake.

OVERDRIVE

Omnibot strategist and leader.

Click picture to see original Character Study of Overdrive. Even though he is the leader of the Omnibots, he conciders Ultra Magnus his leader (because he is!). He is a combination of the other two Omnibots, both the best and worst in them. Rattles off jokes almost as fast as Downshift. He has a camera or two, one of which is actually stronger than Camsaft's own best (in zoom ratio only).

In car mode, he is second fastest next to Camshaft. Wings can pop out from under the doors for sub-sonic powered flights. The nose of his hood/grill hides a flip out twin machine gun. He has a pair of pop up, high-powered spot lights in the roof. Can drop bombs while flying. If not flying, he can lay the bombs out as self burrying mines. Uses his gravity hooks on his underbelly to lift up to 1 ton.

As a robot, he has three guns to choose from. A neutron blaster, a twin-electron blaster, and a plasma beam rifle. His only real weakness is his lack of leadership when Ultra Magnus is around, but Ultra Magnus plans on correcting that problem.
