My Great Grandmother. Born 13 Mar 1895, according to SSDI. Her Social Security Number was issued in Texas. Married Tim O. Mullinax Oct. 28th 1912 who's family was living in either Parker or Tarrant Counties of Texas at the time. They had 6 Children, born 1915-1932, middle children and likely the eldest were born in Parker county of Texas, and youngest two in Palo Pinto County of Texas. (Note: In previous versions I had misteakenly typed that backwards). She died June 1978 while residing in Arlington, Tarrant Co., Texas. Tim died 1978 in Arlington, Tarrant Co., Texas. | |
| Update ! I got a tip to look in Huntington, TN. In the 1910 census for Livinia, TN (opposite side of Carroll county from Huntington), I found a Mannie Hardin of the right age, daughter of Charlie F. Hardin and Ella P. Barger. Searching the 1900 census shows a promising, but slightly different entry, a Marmie M. Hardin, born June 1894, daughter of Charles F. Hardin and Lou Ella Bargo. Further problems arise when looking at other individuals associated with them in the two census entries, especially with her brother and maternal grandmother. Is this the correct family? For now this entry doubles as both a Most Wanted and a Questionable | ||||

My 3rd Great Grandparents. Parents of Maime Turrell, also seen as Mamie Turrill. He was born in Canada to parents born in NY. 1920 census lists Maime/Mamie's mother as Amy D., age 58, who was born to parents who were both born in MI. The 1910 census does not list relationships but in the household there is an Anna A., age 48, born in MI, to a father from Canada and a mother from MI. I found a record in the 1880 census for Bloomer, Montcalm, MI, which seems to be them. It has her as Ama A. age 19, born in NY to parents born in NY. It also has his parents as Truman J. Turrill and Caroline, both born in NY, both aged 71. It also has John Maker, 20yr old, Labor, born in NY, and 16 yr old Ida Knowles, servant, born in MI to parents born in NY. | |
