Rhythm Guitar
![]()
Paul Smith is the rhythm guitarist for Immunity. It all started somewhere in September of 2000. Paul had just met Alex because they had a history class together. They became good freinds with all the things they had in common. As the two freshman got to know each other better, Paul went to Alex's house one day to do a project. Knowing Alex, he went streight to his room to play his guitar. Paul at first was not that interested, thinking that it was a waste of time. Of course, thinking this over, Paul got more and more intrigued in playing guitar. He thought to himself
"I've been playing the saxamaphone for
say five years, and I am getting pretty damn sick of it
I should pick up something else
" Paul thought that guitar would be a fun thing to have and play. So he went out and baught a guitar, simple distortion and amp. He got a teacher and started playing. Being all proud, Paul showed Alex his new prized possession and what he had learned. Alex was dually impressed, so he started teaching him some stuff. In the meantime, Paul was putting together a simple band known as Impulze. (It did not work out). Being the fast learner that he is, playing the guitar daily became a habit. He is always striving and pushing himself to go to his limits.
As the year passed, Impulze went nowhere, and Alex's band of his own had just fallen to shit, so Paul got a brilliant Idea of taking Alex's guitar skills and incorporating them into another band that consisted of Paul Heath, Evan Loudenback, Andrew Boutros, Alex Steele and himself. Immediately everyone liked each other and worked well with each other, so they all thought that the new band was going to be a hit, (It is now may I add) the only problem was a name. Everyone thought, and thought and thought. Lithium came up as one, but people were commenting on how Nirvana, (A gay Grunge Band) named one of their albums Lithium. That is when "Black Light District" came into the picture. after boutros left they changed thier name to Immunity and got Nick as thier singer. The band is currently doing well, and getting along, despite all of the bad times they have with Paul Heath's temper, Alex being a slacker, Nick who is crazy as shit, And Evan...well...Evan never does anything wrong....
Paul Smith's Comment: "Alex might be able to kill me at guitar
but one day
one day
I will show him who's the man
I am a very fast learner.
