Intellipics is only available for the Macintosh as yet, but I'm sure we can trust Intellitools to release a PC version soon. In the meantime, those of you who don't have Intellipics can still use the Runtime Version (download below) to view the activities. The files below are self-expanding archieves. Just double-click on them, and they'll load straight to your hard drives.
Yummy Yucky is an activity I made up to work with sentence construction and choices. I hope you like my first attempt at animations with the "Yummy" and "Yukky" faces. The students choose a meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) and a combination of foods. They then decide if the combination is yukky or yummy. It leads to a lot of discussion on what sorts of foods are suitable for which meals, and which foods taste great on their own but not combined. A typical sentence generated from this activity is "For breakfast I had cereal and milk. It was yummy." The same overlays can be used for a word processing exercise. They can be used with any wordprocessor, however I can recommend "Intellitalk."

If you are looking for an Australian supplier of Intellitools software, try Spectronics in Brisbane. I'll make a link here soon so you won't have trouble finding them.
