On these pages I'll be sharing how we use different software titles with our special needs students. Please feel welcome to contribute.

"James Discovers Maths" - A new programme published by Broderbund. This one is AUSTRALIAN. Excuse me for being patriotic, but this is the best program I've seen in ages.

Storybook Weaver Deluxe - This is a great package that lets you and your students create multimedia story books. I have listed some examples of how I use this programme across curriculum.

Living Books - Mentions strategies for Language development, observation and prediction, as well as a list of strategies for specific titles.

Kid Pix - Ideas for using this great graphics package in different curriculum areas

Edmark Software - Inviting Millie, Bailey, Sammy and the Thinkin' Things crowd into your classroom.

Judy Lynn Software - Great software for PCs from this American Company. Site contains information including a description of the program and ordering information.

Software for Mac and PC Downloadable Software suitable for both special needs and mainstream compiled by Adaptive Technology Services at the Low Incidence Support Centre (My new workplace).
