BIOGRAPHIES

Patrick was born in  Mississippi with a family
tree rooted in the ministry of southern gospel
music, following in the footsteps of generations
gone before him.

His  love  for  gospel  music began as a child,
perched  on  his  grandmother's  piano  stool,
surrounded by the  Blackwood Brothers  and
many others.   He sang his first  gospel  song
at the early age of 5 years old,   and later,  at
the age of 16,   formed The Singing Teens,  a
gospel  quartet.    He  went on  to  become  a
gospel DJ at WJXN in Jackson, Mississippi.
Patrick then  founded a gospel  quartet,   The
Concords,   that traveled extensively through
the South in the 70's and 80's.

The Concords were very successful,  winning
a  number  of contests  and  appearing  at the
Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Now,    after  singing  gospel music for over 4
decades,  Patrick is proud to be a member of
Wings of Gold Southern Gospel Ministry.

Doug  is a  native Texan,    born  in  Cameron
and having lived in the state his entire life.

He has  used  his  God  given talent  for  bass
singing  in a  number  of  ways.    But his first
opportunity  to  sing in  a gospel  group  came
in  1995  when  he  joined a mixed,   male and
female quartet,  The Scott Family.    Later, in
1997,  the group  reorganized into  an all male
quartet  and  renamed  the group  Called Out,
which ministered in many churches and other
venues throughout the South for 3 years.

Doug feels  that  he has  been blessed  to sing
with  3 of the  finest Christian  gentlemen  and
it is his  prayer that,  through  the ministry  of
Wings of Gold, as many souls as  possible will
come to know Christ.

Doug now resides in the city of Lake Jackson
with  his  wife  Karen  where  they  attend  the
First Baptist Church.

Kevin is a  Jayhawker  from the small  city of
Iola in southeast Kansas.

As many other gospel  singers have done,  he
started  singing  in  a  church  choir as  a teen,
where he learned to harmonize.   He has sung
as a soloist  for many  years  and has enjoyed
participating in a local nursing home ministry
known as The Christian Heirs.

In the early nineties,  Kevin got his first taste
of  southern  gospel music when he sang a few
engagements with mixed trio, The Hoxworth's,
and  has  loved  it  ever  since.       From there
he joined another trio,  The Berry's,  in which
he sang tenor.  He then became the tenor  and
sang  a  little  baritone  for  the  male  quartet,
Called Out, where he met Doug Dees.

Kevin believes there is no greater  joy possible
than to be used by God to lead others to Christ
and he  feels  Wings  of  Gold  will  continue  to
fulfill that desire in his heart.
