I remember first hearing of Saviour Machine back in 94 from a friend of mine who worked at a local retail Christian music/bookstore. Unfortunately, his comments were unfavorable towards the band. My friend as well as the manager of the store were offended by some ofthe lyrics from the debut album and decided to pull the copies. I was naturally curious so I eventually picked up the debut cd. Beinga a big fan of gothic/prog rock, I was instantly hooked not only on SM's music but the lyrics. As I found the lyrics which might have offended my friend and the manager, I couldn't help but wonder what the big deal was. Maybe its because many Christian artists these days are too busy trying to polish up and de-Jesus their lyrics for secular airplay that they fail to use scripture for their songs. There is really no doubt as to where Eric Clayton is coming from or what he is saying in his songs. Its no wonder though, why SM has been labeled 'controversial'. They simply do not fit the norm of what the Christian music industry has become. We need more truth in Christian lyrics and we need more bands like Saviour Machine. What a ministry they have become!! Saviour Machine is one of the best things that ever happened to my life. Eric Clayton is something much more than my idol, or a man I greatly respect and I admire. I wish I could meet him. I wish I could S.M. on stage. I could travel anywhere in Europe just for seeing them live. I am dying to hear Legend 2. Favorite song : American Babylon.

I just wanted to say that I was very pleased to see copies of Legend part I in my local Cristian bookstore. I know several people that were reallyimpressed with Saviour Machine, but did not like ordering by mail. Now even more people will be exposed to a truly brilliant band.

I first heard Saviour Machine on the CrossRythms homepage... when I heard a sample of Legend Part I... I knew my search for everything I'd ever want in music would be over.. I bought the cd... and I was right.. I had a new found fav band... not only are they the best Christian band I've ever heard.. they're the greatest band I ever heard... I am truly a huge fan!

I've been a fan of Saviour Machine since their first release in the states on Intense Records. I don't really have a lot to say that hasn't been said before, nor do I have the words to fully express how much that band really takes me in. Legend Part I is the very first goth CD that l have ever owned and ever heard. To be completely honest, it is one of the best anyone could possibly have. At first, it wasn't hardly what I expected, but it didn't take long at all for it to become a very beautiful composition of music, lyrics, and heart. I am really a fan of more of the hardcore stuff, but you guys are way at the top of the list. I am looking forward to Legend Part II and hope to order the previous CD's also. Thanks for the time!

Saviour Machine is the best goth-metal band, i have heard of so far.It is not only the best christian band, but also the best overall band.They are at least as good as for instance a band like type o negative.A very big differance is though the fact that the lyrics of SM have a meaning.Eric Clayton's lyrics is thrilling.

From the beginning of my life I have searched for those who feel the same about God and His Son as I. I have talked to many people in this search and although they seem sincere about their devotion to the holy Trinity, I have never heard such heart throbbing devotion than that of the band Savior Machine. They have influenced me with their undying loyalty to the Godhead to make 'A Stand' for what is the enevitable conclusion of a world gone bad, a world that is ruled by greed, a world that needs a Savior's return. In my life few albums make me think of a band as masters of music and few artists give me the feeling of wonder (whats next) as Savior Machine have done. Legend is the best album bar none I have ever heard. Sgt. Pepppers move over, Dark side of the moon, move over. This is one instance where music and mastership are one. The vocals are perfect, the percussion, everything is set perfect I have only heard the first and so far I feel overwhelmed by the amazing disc that will be so overplayed I will need to buy another in another week or so. I would just like to say "CONGRATULATIONS" on part 2 of the "LEGEND" trilogy!!! I, like multitudes of others, express the same belief that Saviour Machine is the greatest band known to all of humanity! I have been listening to Saviour Machine since 1995 and have since then, attained ALL of their music. Also, CONGRATS on the "BEHOLD A PALE HORSE" single. Saviour Machine is truly a very anointed band and blessed by God. I can't begin to tell you how much God has blessed, inspired, and motivated me to go out and see souls being saved! To God be the glory forever! Saviour Machine...PLEASE come to Oklahoma City or Bartlesville, Oklahoma for a concert sometime. We have a goth scene here
that is in desparate need of God. Plus, I would love to have the priveledge
to witness firsthand the greatest band ever! If anyone is ever passing through Oklahoma City, tune it in to KOKF 91FM. It's 90.9 on the dial. We have every musical format that there is with the exception of country music. During the nighttime, we have a metal format from 11pm to 5am all night, every night!!!
