Kevin wanted to wake up early for a change. Then he went downstairs to find the kitchen. When he found the kitchen, it seemed that he wasn't the first one to awake. There at the stove he saw Samantha cooking something.
"Good morning," said Samantha, without turning around.
"Mornin'. How'd you know I was here?" Kevin wondered.
"I heard you coming. I have a very keen sense of hearing." She turned around with a smile. "Want some breakfast?"
"Sure. Smells good." Samantha scooped some of the eggs she was cooking on to a couple of plates. She started walking out of the kitchen.
"Hey, let me carry those," Kevin said stopping her. Samantha handed Kevin the plates. Then she lead him into the extravagent dining room.
"Whoa! This place is so incredible!" Kevin exclaimed.
"Thanks. Have a seat."
Samantha sat down at the table and Kevin placed one of the plates in front of her. Then he went to sit down. They started to eat in silence. He ate with his eyes on her the whole time. He loved her eyes. He just loved they way they were a different color with the different colors she wore. They were green now instead of the blue they were last night.
"Samantha?"
"Yes?" she said after swallowing her food.
He hesitated, "Um... can I call you Sam?"
"Yeah, I'd like that," she answered with a smile.
He responded with a smile, then immediately looked down at his plate. He looked up with his eyes but did not move his head. He wanted to see if she was looking down at her plate yet.
"Good morning Sam," said a young woman as she entered the room. She was beautiful too, but not as much as Sam. This woman was about 5'7" with dirty blonde hair that was longer than Sam's. And this woman's eyes were blue. "And who is this?"
"This is Kevin. Kevin this is Kristin," Sam said introducing them.
"Good morning," Kevin said as he stood up.
"Morning. You can call me Kris," she responded.
"Kevin and his friends stayed last night. There's some eggs and stuff made in the kitchen," Sam said.
"Ok. Thanks," Kristin responded. She left and went into the kitchen.
"I should go wake up the guys. We should get ready to go soon," Kevin said as he walked out of the dining room. "Thanks for breakfast." He smiled, then left. He went out into the foyer and walked up the stairs. He reached Howie's door and knocked on it.
Howie opened the door and said, "Hey Kev. What's up?"
"Hey. We're leavin' soon. So get ready, k?"
"K, I'll be ready in 5."
"Ok. I'm gonna go get the other guys too. Meet ya downstairs." Then Howie closed the door.
Kevin told the same thing to the other guys. Then he went to his room and got his stuff ready. After he got his stuff packed up he went downstairs to the foyer to wait for the others. When he got there, Sam was just walking in the door from outside.
"Hello again," Sam said with a smile.
"Hello."
"Where are your friends?"
"They're upstairs getting their stuff together."
"Oh."
Nick and Brian walked down the stairs.
"We're gonna go put our stuff out in the car, Kev," Brian said as him and Nick went out the front door.
Then Howie and AJ came down the stairs.
"B and Nick are out in the car. I'll be out in a minute," Kevin said. Howie and AJ went outside to the car.
Once they were gone, Kevin said, "Thanks so much for letting us stay here the night. We really appreciate it. Well I guess this is goodbye. So... bye." Kevin smiled then walked towards the door.
"Bye Kevin," Sam responded.
Before Kevin closed the door behind him, he turned around once more to look at Sam. Then he turned around, closed the door, and went to the car. He put his stuff in the car and got in the driver's seat. When Kevin tried starting the car, he couldn't. There was a problem. The battery was dead.
