Everyone ran through the lobby of the hotel, running for the safety of the van waiting for them outside. At least one hundred screaming teenage girls were running after them so see if they could just touch one of the Backstreet Boys. The ran out of the swirling doors and hopped quickly into the van. Before Nick could get in a girl caught up to him and ripped his hat off of his head. The body guard gently pushed her out of the way and Nick tried to climb into the van but more girls had caught up and were pulling him into the crowd.
"Nick grab my hand!" Sarah yelled from inside the van. She reached out her hand to him.
He reached for it and they clasped hands and she pulled him in and shut and locked the door. He sat down still holding her hand.
"Thanks." He smiled at her. He wanted to shout and jump for joy because this was the first time he hand touched her.
She smiled back at him. "No problem." She let go of his hand. "So where are we off to now?"
Kevin checked his watch. "We've got a photo shoot in 30 minutes for "The Rolling Stone". We'll probably be there for awhile."
Howie leaned back against the seat and pulled his hat over his eyes. "Man, I do not feel like smiling for the camera. I feel like going back to sleep. I hate early wake ups."
"At least we aren't doing a bathing suit photo shoot." AJ smirked at Brian. "I wouldn't want everyone to get a shot of my silky smooth legs."
Brian laughed to himself. "I have to give myself props for that one."
Abby was fast asleep with her head resting on Brian's shoulder.
"Abby's usually up and awake in the morning." Sarah said as she noticed her friend who was fast asleep.
Brian smiled mischievously. "She was up late last night."
"I bet." Howie mumbled from underneath his hat.
"Hey now, D. None of that talk." Brian laughed.
Nick noticed that Sarah was talking to AJ and he could see that she was hanging on his every word. Nick felt a pain in his heart at the thought that she might not even like him in the same way that he liked her.
"Um...Sarah." Nick began.
She turned to him and smiled. "Yes?"
"Tonight before we leave I was just wondering if you'd like to come for a walk on the beach with me. I love the beach."
Sarah seemed to get nervous and fidgety. "Um...."
Nick shook his head. "That's ok, you don't have to I was just wondering."
"Well I would like to get to know you better as a friend. So sure I'd love to go."
Nick smiled. "Cool." 'Just as friends? I don't want to be just friends.' Nick thought to himself.
They arrived at the modeling building and went inside and we're directed to the area where their photos would be taken. The guys were told to go to make up and warbrobe. Brian pulled Abby aside for a minute and wrapped his arms around her.
Abby smiled up into his beautiful eyes. "I love you."
Brian kissed her lips. "I love you too." He wrapped his arms tighter around her. "You were great last night."
Abby blushed. "Not to bad yourself." She smiled slyly. "Now I know why they call you B-ROK."
Brian smiled. "Oh is that right?"
"Yeah that's right."
She kissed him passionately. Just then Howie stuck his head out of the make up room door.
"Come on you lovebirds." Howie said.
Brian whined. "They are always spoiling my fun." Brian kissed Abby quickly on the cheek and disappeared into a room marked make-up.
Sarah walked over to Abby.
"Boy you and Brian are pretty hot and heavy." She laughed.
"I love him so much. And he is soooooo sweet." Abby leaned against the wall, remembering the night they had spent together last night.
"That's great that you've found yourself I good guy." Sarah said. Her voice dropped an octave.
"Sarah are you still thinking about, you know who?"
Sarah took a deep breath. "It isn't fair that I have to feel like this and he's probably out having a good time. I hate him for what he did Abby. I hate him so much." Sarah began to cry and Abby held her.
"Sarah it's been months. You have to try to move on with your life. It's for the best and you know it."
"But I loved him so much. I gave him all I had to give and look what he did in return." Sarah cried. Her mascara began to run down her cheeks.
"Well what he did just shows you that he didn't love you. He isn't even worth your spit. He's lower than dirt." Abby told her. She made her friend look into her eyes. "Promise me that you'll use this time on the tour to get yourself and your life under control."
"I promise." Sarah whispered.
"Good."
