The tour bus was rolling down the highway and all the guys crowded up to the front of the bus as they saw the familiar sign coming up telling them that they were now entering Orlando, Florida.
As they passed the sign all the guys said in unison, "WELCOME TO ORLANDO, FLORIDA!"
They all cheered. They were now on an official break. Sure, they had the occasional photo shoot or interveiw but at least they were back home for a little while and they would get to see their families and spend time with their friends.
"Man this is great." Howie leaned back in his chair. "I can't wait to see my family. I get homesick a lot of the time."
"I know." Nick smiled. "I can't wait to get home and just relax and play some nintendo." He glanced over at Sarah. "And introduce the love of my life to my parents."
Sarah smiled nervously. "Can't wait."
"Is something wrong?" Nick asked as he moved over by her and put his arm around her shoulders.
Sarah shrugged. "I'm just a little nervous about meeting your parents I guess."
"You have nothing to worry about. You are just like Abby and they love Abby to death." Nick reassured her.
"I can't wait to see her." Brian exclaimed from the other room in the bus.
"I talked to her last night and the doctor said that she can be released." He entered the front of the bus with his backpack in his hand. "So, she should be on her way here right now." He smiled. "I'm so excited."
"I can't wait to see my mom." AJ told everyone. "And yo, of course we're going to have to do some major clubbin on this down time."
All the guys smiled and laughed. "Of course." The all exclaimed in unison.
AJ stood in the middle of the bus and started to get jiggy with it. "We'll just have to get down with our bad selves." He pulled Sarah up and she started dancing with AJ to the imaginery music. Suddenly the whole group formed a congo line in the small bus. "We are on some down time..we are on some down time.we are on some down time."
The bus slowly pulled to a stop and the driver opened the door and they congoed out of the bus. Suddenly a group of about 15 girls came running over to them holding up signs that read, "Welcome Home BSB". The guys smiled and the bodyguards came out to make sure nothing got out of hand. The group posed for pictures with their fans and signed autographs. The limos arrived and came to take the guys back to their homes. They said goodbye to all of their fans and told each other they would call later.
A FEW MINUTES LATER....
AJ pulled his bags out of the back of the limo and walked up the front steps of his house. Suddenly he heard someone yell his name.
"AJ!!!!"
He looked up and smiled and threw down his bags. It was his best friend Laura. She ran down the sidewalk and threw herself into his arms. He twirled her around and then set her back on the ground. He smiled and walked slowly around.
"Damn, girl you're looking good."
Laura smiled proudly. "I know." She joked.
AJ gave her a hug. "How have you been?"
Laura helped him carry his bags back into the house. "I've been doing good. I've been here with your mom a lot."
"Is that my AJ I hear out there?" AJ heard his mom's voice from the kitchen. She walked out of the kitchen and AJ gave her big hug.
"Hi mom." He smiled. "I missed being home so much."
Denise (his mom) moved back and looked at her son. "Have you been eating out on the road? You look thin."
AJ waved the comment away with his hand. "Mothers" and he rolled his eyes. They laughed.
"I'm going to start supper and you and Laura can talk since you haven't seen each other in awhile." She left the room.
They went outside on the porch swing.
"How have things been going for you?" AJ asked again.
Laura laughed. "I told you everything is going fine. I've been doing fine and everything's ok and I'm getting my life back together."
AJ took her hand. "I'm sorry I couldn't be here when your mom passed away. You know you're my best friend and I wanted to be here so badly for you."
Laura gave him a small smile. "I felt bad when your mom told me you weren't coming back but I understand how your job is and what you have to do. For now...let's just hang out like old times."
AJ smiled. "Sounds good."
AT NICK'S HOUSE....
"MOM..DAD..I'M HOME!" Nick yelled as he opened the front door and dropped his and Sarah's bags in the hallway.
His mom and dad came out of the hall that led to the living room followed by his sisters and brother. Everyone was hugging and saying their hellos.
"Mom, dad I'd like you to meet Sarah." He held her hand. "We've been seeing each other for awhile now."
Sarah smiled. "Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Carter." She held out her hand.
"Call me Jane." Nick's mom pulled Sarah to her in a hug.
"And you can call me Bob." He hugged her also.
Sarah was so happy that they didn't spaz out when they found out about her.
"Honey," Jane Carter said to Nick. "We heard about what happened to Abby is she alright?"
Nick nodded his head. "Yep, she's A OKAY, as a matter of fact she's on her way here right now to go to Brian's."
"That's good to hear."
"I'm going to take these things up to my room." Nick picked up a bag. "Can you help me Sarah?"
"Sure." She picked up some bags and followed him upstairs. They got into his bedroom and he shut the door. Sarah walked around looking at his room for the first time. She turned to face Nick and she saw that a sly smile was spread across his face.
"What are you smiling at?" Sarah asked.
Nick walked toward her and put his arms around her waist and pulled her to him. "You." He brought his lips to her's gently at first and then kissing her with more force. Sarah's hands were slowly moving up and down his back as they slowly began to lay on his bed. Before they were laying fully down Sarah pulled away.
She was out of breath. "Ok tiger...that's enough for now."
Nick growled.
Sarah laughed. "You're crazy."
"I know and I love it." He went to kiss her again.
She stood up and walked over to the window. "You're parents are right downstairs Nikolas."
"I know I know." Nick smiled. "But I'm taking you some place special for your first night in Orlando. It's going to be a special official first date. You'll love it"
