Sarah pulled up to Brian, Howie, and Kevin's house and parked the car in the long and curvy driveway. Brian had called her a few minutes earlier to tell her that Abby had arrived. Sarah couldn't wait to see her best friend. There was no words to describe how she felt about her best friend being okay. She ran up to the door and walked in without even knocking. Brian and Abby were sitting next to each other on the couch talking intently to each other.
"ABBY!!" Sarah screamed with excitement.
Abby turned around and smiled at her best friend and Sarah gave her a hug gently, so she wouldn't hurt her. She still wasn't fully healed from the shooting.
"I'm so glad that you are back." Sarah sat in between Brian and Abby on the couch. "Brian I know that you want to be with the love of your life but I need to talk to her as soon as possible."
Brian smiled and gestured to Abby with his hand. "Go right ahead...I don't mind I'll just sit here."
Sarah gave Brian a stern look. "I meant privately Mr. Joker."
"Ok ok" Brian laughed and stood up. "Call me when your done."
Once Brian was gone out of the room Sarah turned to Abby excitedly. "Ok here's the story...Nick is taking me on our first official date this afternoon."
Abby smiled. "What are you guys going to do?"
Sarah stood up and walked around the living room. "That's just it. Nick won't tell me. He totally wants to surprise me and the suspense is killing me!"
"That is so sweet." Abby cooed.
"Don't give me the "that is so sweet" stuff." Sarah shook her index finger at Abby. "I know you had something to do with this Abby so tell me what Nick is planning for me."
Abby shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about Sarah."
"Come on." She got on her knees by Abby on the couch. "Please please please please tell me. I'll be your slave forever."
Abby rolled her eyes. "That's what you told me in the third grade when I let you use the blue crayon and I haven't seen you do one thing for me."
Sarah plopped down next to Abby on the couch. "But I want to know."
"He wants you to be surprised." Abby held out her hands. "Hence the name surprised!"
AT NICK'S HOUSE...BRIAN IS THERE WITH HIM NOW
"Man Brian, this is going to be such an awesome day." Nick walked over to his closet full of clothing and began to look for something to wear. "Sarah will never suspect this in a million gazillion years."
Brian popped a yellow gummi bear into his mouth. "I love candy."
Nick turned around and gave Brian a weird look. "I'm talking about my love life and you're talking about eating candy?!?"
Brian smiled and shrugged. "Sorry but I can't help it. This stuff is good stuff you know. It gives me a rush." He started running around Nick's room.
Nick began to laugh. "Will you stop joking around and come and help me pick out something to wear."
Brian stood by the closet with Nick. "Yep, I'd say you have a lot to choose from. What did you do..buy every single article of clothing that you saw?"
Nick nodded his head. "Yeah basically."
Brian laughed. "Ok Nicky let's get you ready for your date." He began throwing piles of clothes out of the closet. Soon the floor was covered with clothes and Nick was no where to be seen.
"Frack where you at man?" Brian called out. He heard a faint answer. "What? I can't hear you."
Brian looked down at the floor and Nick spit a sock out of his mouth. "I'm under all these clothes."
Brian laughed yet again. "That's what you get for buying so many."
AJ AND LAURA ROLLERBLADING... (AJ HAD NEVER ROLLERBLADED BEFORE)
AJ heard Laura's laughter over the car traffic.
"I have never seen such a bad rollerblader before." She laughed more. "And when you took out that fruit stand back there that was hilarious."
AJ grabbed on to the nearest bench for support has the skates parted his legs again. "You're just lucky I'm a backstreet boy or that would have come out of your money."
Laura skated by him fast. "Don't be such a spoil sport AJ. You looked so cute with a banana squashed on your head."
AJ smirked. "Don't remind me."
She skated in circles around him. "Come on let go of the bench. You're a big boy. Can't you handle it?"
AJ stood up slowly and quickly lost his balance and fell back on to his butt on to the pavement. Laura started laughing hysterically. People started beeping their car horns at him.
"Laura I can't believe you talked me into doing this." AJ said as Laura helped him back up to his feet.
Laura took hold of AJ's hands. "Come on I'll help you. We'll skate down to the pier and then you can take them off and we'll walk back."
"Ok." AJ held on to her hand tightly. "But just to the pier."
As they skated on AJ realized that they were beginning to pick up speed. He tried to act cool and keep up with Laura but suddenly he saw the railing of the pier coming into view fast.
"Um...Laura." AJ yelled over to her. He realized that he had let go of her hand.
"AJ STOP!!!" Laura yelled to him.
"STOP?!?!?" AJ yelled back. "HOW THE HELL DO I DO....." Suddenly he hit the railing and the last thing Laura saw was AJ's rollerbladed covered feet fly over the railing. She skated fastly to the railing and looked over.
"Don't even laugh!" AJ yelled from down in the water.
He had fallen into the ocean and was trending water fast.
Laura tried not to laugh but she couldn't help it. She burst into uncontrollable laughter.
"Good thing Kevin isn't here with his camera to get this one on tape." AJ thought to himself as he swam to shore.
