Chapter 3"
"DADDY DEAREST"
Bob Carter had heard a little of the conversation the boys were having about his eldest daughter whom he hadn't seen in years. He also heard Brian yelling his name and saying something about he wanted to be his son-in -law. At this he looked at Jane and mumbled , "Honey , just pray Kid Rock is lying and she is ugly and fat!" He then glanced to his right where Brian was sitting. Luckily Nick, AJ, Tiffany(Nick's new girlfriend), and Sarah(AJ's new girlfriend), were sitting between Bob and Brian. Tiffany had switched seats with AJ so she and Sarah could talk. Bob listened to them talking about how they were already tired of all this talk about Jacki, Jacko , the Goddess , or what ever the fuck they called her. She was probably an untalented dog, they had both agreed, hell they didn't even really want to come to the concert but Nick said it wouldn't look good if they all didn't go and show their support for their ' Goddess', and besides it was his beloved idol, Jacki. Bob was glad to hear the girls had already decided they didn't like Jacki, maybe it would help to keep Brian from getting involved with her if she turned out to be a hot number. He just couldn't let Brian get involved with her. It would be disasterous if Brian fell in love with Jacki because he knew what would eventually happen. Jacki would tell him the truth of what happened that day a little over 10 years ago, and Brian would tell Nick and the others, and they would all ...well he didn't even want to think of what would happen, all he knew is he and Jane would lose everything if the truth came out. He whispered to Jane, who was sitting to his left ," Jane, what are we gonna do if she tells anyone what really happened?"
Jane answered quietly,"I don't know, didn't you get in touch with her today to see what she was going to do or say?"
"No, I called her once and I could hear her telling whoever it was who answered the phone that she didn't know anyone named Bob Carter and to just hang up the phone caz it was probably a prank call!", he said in an even quieter voice than before. "She is going to fry us Jane, I just know it, the little bitch. Oh, if only her mother had got that abortion that I told her to get, then none of this would ever have happened. It's all her fault. I always knew nothing good would ever come out of that pregnancy, and shit look how right I was!" Nothing good was right, he thought, Jacki had been a thorn in his side since the day he found out about her!
Remembering back to what had started out to be the happiest day of his life, hell he had met Jane the afternoon before when he was traveling down the road in his 18 wheel truck coming back from a delivery he had just made. He was headed home for he knew he had a nice warm supper waiting for him on his table. But that supper was never to be because all of a sudden he was going around a corner and there was a car sitting on the side of the road, and kneeling down beside it was a very beautiful golden blonde haired girl, trying to fix a flat tire. Well Bob , being a gentleman, stopped to see if she needed assistance. She did. So while he changed the tire they talked. And somewhere in that conversation he fell deeply in love with her! He knew he was being horrible because he had only been married for just under a year, but things just weren't like they should be between him and his wife, Kate. Surely his wife had felt it too! Well he knew Jane, as this was the new love of his life's name, felt something too. It was obvious to them both that they were meant to be together. So he just blurted it out to Jane how he felt and asked if she felt the same way! Yes, she had replied, and said she had never felt like this before and even though she knew it was wrong she asked him to follow her back to her apartment so they could talk. He told her the truth about his being married, but told her he was going to go and tell his wife the truth about what had happened and that he wanted a divorce as soon as possible. He told Jane he didn't see where it would cause a problem because he knew his wife felt the same thing he had been feeling about how things just weren't going right between them. Boy was he wrong, he didn't know about her being at home as this conversation was taking place, making sure everything was perfect for him when he got home. She just knew this was the perfect marriage and that he was going to be so happy when he saw the baby booties on his dinner plate and found out she was pregnant! Oh she was so happy herself, a baby, oh they had both talked about how much they couldn't wait to be parents. And now their dream was going to come true. She didn't realize at the time her dream was about to become a nightmare for her and her unborn , innocent, child.
Bob had called his wife up at about 1 am , knowing she would be getting worried and might call the police to go look for him, so he just told her something had happened to the truck and he would explain it in the morning when he came home. She never questioned him, she just said are you ok and he answered oh yes, I will explain in the morning ok, nite, and hung up the phone. And then he went to Jane and they made love until they both fell asleep, exhausted.
Bob and Jane woke up around 8 in the morning, made love, jumped into the shower, made love again, and then they dried off and got dressed. He had to go and tell his wife he had found someone new and wanted a divorce. So he told Jane he would be back in a short while and left her with a kiss and a big smile on her face, a smile that she would not be wearing for long.
When he got home he found his wife still asleep on the couch where she had fallen asleep crying. He woke her up and she jumped up , throwing her arms around him crying oh honey I was so worried about you, and before she could kiss him he threw her arms off of him making her stare blankly at him in shocked silence. "Kate", he said, "Theres something we need to discuss," He then took her by the arm and led her to the kitchen and sat her down at the table and this is when he noticed the dinner table was still set and in his dinnerplate was a baby booty! "What in the hell is that!" he said louder than he had really meant to. But he had and now Kate stood there realizing that something was wrong and something had happened last night and she had a good feeling what it was.
"Who is she?" Kate asked "And do you really think I am going to let you go that easily especially now that i am 2 months pregnant!"
And this is when he had lost it! He started yelling at her louder than he had ever yelled at anyone before. He yelled at her that how, in just a chance meeting, he had found someone that made him feel better than she had ever thought of making him feel. That this woman , Jane, was the woman of his dreams and he was going to get a divorce and marry her. And that jane was the only woman he wanted having his children and that Kate was going to have to get an abortion! That he would not be responsible for an unwanted child walking around in this world thinking that someday he was going change his mind and be its father! He would borrow the money from his parents and she could go and get the abortion as soon as she set it up.
Poor Kate was heartbroken and in shock until he mentioned the word abortion, and then she did some yelling back herself! Who in the hell did he think he was talking to? There was no way in hell she was going to murder the baby she had already fallen in love with just because he couldn't keep his dam dick in his pants, and just at the sight of any little whore that opened her legs to him! What kind of a monster was she married to anyways? Hell yeah he could have his fucking divorce and marry a whore and lose his good wife and his precious, unborn child, and that how someday this was going to all come back and hit him in the face! And she just wished she was going to be there to see it happen. Well unfortunately and sadly her wish was not to come true , but there is a saying, "What goes around, comes around", and the saying was about to be proved true, because Bob Carter's someday was just about to happen. And it was all going to come back and hit him in the face....real big time..because everything Jacki did , she always did it... bigtime!
