location of the person. Great way to see

Shows your account number
and location. Good if you just want to
know your account number. |
/whisper [user]
/w [user]
/msg [user] |
Sends a private message to
the user no matter where they are, even
in a game. Great way to tell friends to
join your game even when you are not in
the same chat channel. |
/squelch [user]
/ignore [user] |
You don't hear anything from
that user again. Perfect for those
annoying people! |
/unsquelch [user]
/unignore [user] |
Lets you haer the squelched
user. Good if you make up with those
annoying people! |
/away [text] |
Displays an away message
whenever someone is looking you up or
whispers to you. To reverse the command,
type it in again. Great way of telling
people that you dont want to hear from
them. |
/dnd [text] |
Same thing as /away except
that you don't see the whispered message.
If you are in an important game, just put
this sign up. |
/who [channel] |
Displays all the users in
the channel. I don't understand why
anyone would use this. |
/users |
Displays the nmber of users
currently logged onto Battle.net. I don't
understand why anyone would use this. |
/time |
Displays the Battle.net
time. Good if you don't have a watch and
need to know the time quick. Also its a
great way to arrange games if you play
with people from all over the world.
There is only one time that you must tell
them. |
Channel Operator
Commands |

/designate [user]
/designate #[number] |
Tells who will be the net
channel operator once you leave. Good if
you don't want someone to become channel
operator after you. |
/resign |
You will become a regular
user in the channel instead of the
operator. Good if you cannot handle the
responsiblities. |
/kick [user]
/kick #[number] |
Kicks a user out of the
channel and they can return if they wish.
Good as a warning to someone that is
annoying you. |
/ban [user]
/ban #[number] |
Kicks a user out of the
channel and prevents them from returning
until there is a new channel operator.
Most powerful command that a channel
operator pocesses. Useful for those
really annoying people or if you just
want to talk privately to someone. |
/unban [user]
/unban #[number] |
Lets the banned user return.
Pretty useful command i guess... |
