Welcome to Aria

Hiya there! And Welcome to Aria!
I hope that Introduction by our dear GM, Stuart, has interested you enough to join this game. My name is Jonathan, Assistant GM, and I'l be your guide through this page. The "Aria" game is different to all the other PBEM's you may have played (or haven't played). "Aria" will not rely on numbers, that's our job. so whenever you recieve feed-back from us about your situation, it will not be "wounded points are now 10...you are dying", but rather "You have been struck hard against the head, and see the blood dripping into your hand as you rest it against the new wound...you feel faint and dizzy. this may be the end". But you'll see more on that when you get your
Character together.

When you sign up, you can be either one of these races. none of them are the same, but yet they are similar in their overall potential. You will be given a choice of being an
Elve, Human, Dwarf, Minotaur or Dragon. You will be asked to choose skills before you sign-up. These skills will be personal for you, and When the time comes they may prove very usefull, as we, the GM and Assistant GM, will keep throwing adventures to you and other players. Some players may be real people, others may be ones we make up ourselves and incooperate in the game. So you really have to decide on who you think you can trust, and who you think you can't.

If you have any questions about how the game works, on how to make your character, then ask Stuart. He'll be answer all your questions on game rules better than what I can!

If you have any comments or suggestion for the web-page, or notice any faulty links or just need hard-copies of information provided in these pages, then I'm your man. Just E-mail me!

So now that you've got a basic idea of what the world of Aria is about, its time to brief you with the rules. If your still not sure about whether or not you wish to join us, and would like to have a better look at the character templates, or maybe at the avaliable skills, then be our guest and browse our pages.
