Both of these instrumental pieces were recorded on the same day some time late last year, when I already lived in this apartment on Magazine street, above the Wicker Gazebo. The impetus was the suicide of a young man, the brother of an old friend. Both songs reflect this. Blues with darkness, and After Peace with calm.
