This section is rapidly becoming dedicated to Harvey's songs being perfomed by Mike, myself, and now, even Harvey! (that's him down here).

This recording was made in 1997 on "The Bull," a Tascam porta 03 cassette tape four track, and features Michael Herman on vocals and myself playing the instrumental backup. Please excuse the extra large cathedral reverb on the vocals. These may be removed later. Also, be sure to enjoy the elegant analog hiss, which I left in for special effect. You don't get to hear stuff like this anymore!! Honey Honey is a song that Harvey gets asked to play frequently. The rendition you'll hear is one that we put together after not having heard the song for quite a while, so I think we may have lost some of the words along the way. Let me know what you think. I have removed Honey Honey. It may undergo a face lift and return, with a new sound. |
Ground Zero is one of Harvey's insturmental compositions that seems to be very popular in New Orleans. We recorded it during the month of March at Mike's house in the Bywater, with Mike on the piano, Harvey playing his silvertone, and myself playing fretless bass. It's got a sad feel to it. | ||||||

Downloading Instructions (in case you weren't paying attention) These files are not setup to 'stream' from this server. You will need to download them and play them from your computer. You can do this by right clicking (or option clicking) with your mouse, and 'saving target/link as'. This way you can specify where your computer will put the files. Otherwise, after your computer automatically plays the file, the song will go into the void of some temporary folder, never to be heard again. You'll need RealPlayer G2 to listen to them. |
