Character Summary
Mercutio: Gets in a fight with Tybalt and is killed.
Benvolio: Is present only at the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt and Romeo and Tybalt.
Tybalt: Kills Mercutio and then is killed by Romeo.
Romeo: Kills Tybalt then is banished from the city. He hides at Friar Lawrences cell and finds out about Juliet from the Nurse. That night he goes to visit Juliet for which he thinks will be his last time.
Prince: Banishes Romeo from Verona.
Juliet: Sad that Tybalt died and that Romeo was banished. She sends Romeo a ring and spends her last night with him. She finds out that she has to marry Paris and that if she doesn't she will be banished from her house.
Nurse: Delivers ring to Romeo and tells Juliet about the deaths.
Friar: Hides Romeo and talks to him about what has happened.
Capulet: Arranges marriage with Paris and tells Juliet if she doesn't marry him she will be banished.
Paris: Plans to marry Juliet.
Lady Capulet: Talks to Juliet about death and about wedding plans.
