How I do business.
...otherwise known as The Fine Print. These are the terms under which I sell here on my own site, as well as on ebay.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT - Within 24 hours of auction end (or my receipt of your email regarding a quilt you'd like to purchase from my shop), I'll send you confirmation. If you're high bidder on an ebay auction, please reply within 36 hours with your shipping information.

US ONLY - I do not accept bids or purchases from, or ship to addresses,outside the US.
PAYMENT - Make sure you are able to get payment to me within 10 days of receipt of my confirmation email. I report no-pays to ebay, which can affect your ability to bid in the future. On the other hand, I realize that we all hit brick walls sometimes, and will gladly work with you if you need extra time if you email me - promptly - regarding your circumstances.

MONEY ORDERS, CASHIER'S/BANK CHECKS PREFERRED - Money orders/cashier's checks are my favorite (you send cash at your own risk), and will ship on my next ship date after I receive payment. I will accept checks, but I will hold your item until your check clears, which may be as much as 10 days, so if you're in a hurry for your item, this is not the payment choice for you. The purchaser is responsible for ALL charges associated with checks returned for insufficient funds. I do not accept Paypal or credit cards.
SHIPPING - Unless noted otherwise, I ship by USPS Priority Mail.
INSURANCE- I require USPS insurance on breakable items, the amount you owe will show this charge included in your total due. The shipping charge for unbreakable items does not include insurance. However, I recommend all items be insured; I pack carefully, but I have no control over what goes on in the back room at the USPS. If you elect NOT to purchase insurance for items on which it is not automatically included, I will not be held responsible for shipping damage or loss. Should an insured item be damaged or lost in transit, I will assist you in every way in filing a claim with the USPS.
FEEDBACK - You will never get an email or an enclosure with your package asking for ebay feedback. I am always grateful for my bidders' kind words, but I NEVER EVER ask for or expect it. The best "feedback" you can give me is to buy more of my stuff.
REFUNDS - I do my utmost to describe items I sell clearly and fairly, and mess for hours to get the color in my jpgs as accurate as possible. Vintage items I list on ebay (including vintage quilts) are by their nature old and used, but I work hard to tell you how old and how used so you can buy with confidence. Check my ebay feedback to see buyers' comments about my integrity and fine service. If I drop the ball and (for example) you find a big goober flaw, let me know promptly and we'll work out a compromise that'll make us both happy. Ramona and I want you as return customers!
