Jo Ann Ray is RMI's missionary living in Hong Kong. In addition to her work with the Filipinos in Hong Kong she travels to the Philippines and India assisting the ministry in these areas.
 

Jo Ann works with the largest minority group in Hong Kong-the 150,000 Filpina domestic helpers.

On Sundays, they are found sitting on mats on one of the main streets that is blocked off to give them a place to gather. Even the buses are rerouted to make room for them.  About 80% are from the Ilocos region  of the Philippines.

Several Sundays a month, Jo Ann and the women she disciples go out and share the gospel.  She says many people are listening even though they don't act like it.

Jo Ann says her priority is to do the Great Commission even if that means not going to the United States to be with her mother who is in poor health and is sometimes lonely.

"Without the presence of God, we are all lonely," says Jo Ann.  As a result, her mother is learning to depend upon the Lord.

"God asks us to do things we don't always like to do, but I'm finding that He is sufficient." in the meantime, she sticks to her priorities which are God, his Word and the souls of people.
