What is Red XIII's real name?Nanaki which I believe it means Red Fire
What is Red XIII's mother's name?The FF7 creators never game his mother a name since she wasn't an important character throughout the game.
Was he the last of his kind?There are a few hints by his grandfather (in the game) that he's seen others and that he might find a mate of his own one day.
What are his children's name?Again, FF7 creators did not name his children either.
What is his mate's name?Same idea for mom and pups. No name. Also she's never seen but there is a hint that she was out there.
How old is he in his species?Around 15 or 16.
Where did the name Red XIII come from?Hijo (an insane scientist) did experiments on many creatures. He name Nanaki "Red XIII" because of the fur color and, also, he was the 13th experiment.
What is Red XIII?The creators never really said what is Red XIII. Some ideas are that he's part hyena because of the mane formation on his neck and back. But at the same time he looks sort of like a lion/wolf. At a young age he does look more of a hyena, but when he is older he looks more of a lion/wolf. Since there is no real answer to this question, just have fun look trying to discover what he is!
